What I don’t offer:

I won’t solve your problems for you.

I used to want someone to just tell me what to do to feel better, but it doesn’t work that way. Only you have the answers to your problems, and until you take responsibility for your personal actions and beliefs you won’t change. If you hired a personal trainer, would you want them to lift the weights for you? That does you no good. You do the work and you reap the rewards.

I won’t be your therapist.

Or your counselor, or mentor, or consultant, or even your best friend. I am an accountability partner, a guide, a motivational force and a facilitator to assist you in thinking new ideas and from new perspectives.

I won’t judge you.

We all have strengths and we all have areas that require improvement. We all struggle and we all have dark times in our lives. I see all potential clients as powerful, complete and able to reach their maximum potential. That being said, if you are struggling with trauma, mental health issues, substance abuse, etc., you need to seek the help of a mental health professional. My primary objective as a coach is to help you achieve your emotional intelligence goals, and those larger issues can hinder that process. That doesn’t mean we can’t still work together, but attention must be paid to every dimension of your mental well being.
